Hi Trenity, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Having the need to get things done before moving on to the next really helped me focus on putting my all into something to make sure it feels complete.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is that I️ like to see things with a new potential, something alternative. Learning from myself is something that I’m most proud of, paying attention to what I️ like and dislike. Recently I’ve been learning how to use the environment more as a prop when doing photoshoots. Today I️ am where I’m at because of just getting to know people and being my full self. It’s easy for me because I️ love a bond and spending time with people, it makes me feel alive. When doing photoshoots, the models, team, and I️ are all connected and synced, working to make something beautiful. I️ would like for the world to know that photography puts me in a good state of mind. It’s ok not to fit in, find or make your own land.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting, I’ll take them to “set de flo”. Before the pandemic, “set de flo” was the place to be where the night comes alive. House music fills the bar while everyone dance in a judge free zone. One of my favorite places to eat at is “Sweet Soulfood” where they serve New Orleans based dishes but with a vegan take. Downtown New Orleans is always nice to visit, the art scene and galleries are pleasing to see.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’ll like to shout out my mom for supporting my creative choices and for always being there to help. I️’ll also like to give a shoutout to all the creatives in New Orleans for continuing to achieve their goals.
